Lake Barkley State Park/Kentucky/April 1, 2023
It was a great evening on April 1, 2023 as the Friends of the Lake sponsored a Dance event for all ages. This was the second event hosted by the group to promote activities at the Lake and to raise money for other activities at Lake Barkley.
It was also the second event that they had invited LineDanceConnection to provide the entertainment and music for the event.
There were dance groups from Henderson, Paducah, Hopkinsville, Nashville, and Clarksville that came out for a night of dancing, fun and socializing.
LineDanceConnection provided Beginner Dance Teaches so everyone was able to get up on the dance floor and enjoy the evening. Each group provided request list of music so all groups had a chance to showcase their dances.
It was great to see the floor divided with multiple dances to same song and gave participants chance to see other dances done to their favorite music. This also provided the spectators a great visual experience as well.
There is another event already on the Calendar for September 9, 2023, The Friends of the Lake and LineDanceConnection want to invite all dance classes to come on out to the Lake Barkley Lodge and Convention Center for a fun night of dancing and socializing.
